Santa Cruz Yacht Harbor and the Seabright Area

Although it can be a relaxing way to spend the day, beach life around Seabright and the Santa Cruz yacht harbor is more than just lying on a towel in the sand, slathering tanning tanning lotion on everything except the circles around your eyes.

Surfing, sailing, kayaking, and yes hiking are popular activities on and just off the beach. But this is where the sailing community lives and plays.

If you don't own a boat, or know a friend who you can crew for, the Chardonnay II is a great way to participate in the weekly Wednesday night races. Land Lubbers can view the race from the comfort of the Crow's Nest (just out of the frame to the right).
